Founder & Managing Director
Credentials: PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Certified Marine Naturalist, 20+ years in Indonesian Marine Tourism.
Bio: Banyu’s vision is the driving force behind Komodo Diving Trip. Having grown up exploring the archipelago’s waters, he transitioned his passion into a career, managing some of Indonesia’s most respected dive operations before founding our company under the Juara Holding Group. He has logged over 6,000 dives, with a particular love for the challenging currents of Castle Rock. Banyu is dedicated to proving that world-class luxury and authentic conservation can, and must, coexist. He personally vets every aspect of our operation, from vessel safety protocols to the sustainability of our supply chain.
Dr. Anisa Putri
Marine Biologist & Sustainability Officer
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Biology (Universitas Indonesia), published researcher on elasmobranch behavior, PADI Divemaster.
Bio: Dr. Anisa leads our commitment to responsible tourism. Her research on manta ray populations in the Komodo region provides invaluable data for our conservation partners like Manta Trust. Onboard, she enriches the guest experience with fascinating lectures on marine ecology, fish identification, and the specific behaviors of creatures found at sites like Manta Point and Siaba Besar. Bio: Originally from Italy, Marco has called Komodo home for over a decade and is one of the most respected figures in the region’s dive community. As our PADI Course Director, he oversees all training and safety standards, ensuring our team of instructors and divemasters is the best in the business. Marco’s intimate knowledge of Komodo’s currents and topography is legendary; he knows the precise time to drop into Crystal Rock for the best visibility and the secret spots for spotting pygmy seahorses. Credentials: Ahli Nautika Tingkat III (ANT III), over 25 years of maritime experience in the Lesser Sunda Islands.
Bio: Captain Komang is a master of his craft. Hailing from a long line of seafarers, he possesses an intuitive understanding of the seas, winds, and currents of the Komodo archipelago. His expertise is critical for navigating the challenging channels and ensuring our vessels are always positioned in the safest, most comfortable anchorages.
